About the event
Seattle’s most unfiltered literary series returns for its March installment at the Mountain Room (The bar at the R!)
Seattle, WA — Author Paul Mullin is back with the April installment of the local literary reading series: Crowd Mouth Lit, coming Sunday, April 26 at 6:00 PM at The Mountain Room, promising an evening of literature that’s loud, local, and lit.
No ploys. No preciousness. Just a mic, a crowd, and words meant to leave a mark.
CROWD MOUTH LIT builds on the legacy of Loud Mouth Lit, which earned a reputation for its gritty venues, theatrical flair, and curated pairings of compelling writers that bring literature out of the ivory tower and into the warm rooms of real life.
This April installment features:
Mary Fields, mural artist-turned-author of the graphic novel Carried Away, about a young woman’s adventures traveling through Europe and Africa alone in 1974. (A special staged reading directed by Shana Bestock.)
