The Marina Albero Trio:

Raised in Barcelona, now a Seattle resident, the piano virtuoso Marina Albero navigates thrillingly among Spanish, flamenco, Cuban, and jazz styles in her inventive trio with bassist Dean Schmidt, and drummer D’Vonne Lewis. Endlessly creative as a composer and improviser, Albero is also a master of the hammered dulcimer. Committed to the local jazz community, Albero recently received a special Golden Ear, Community in Action Award for her efforts to support her fellow musicians afflicted by the demise of live music by producing “The Quarantine Sessions,” a streaming concert series. Bringing expressive and dynamic excellence, this well-honed trio who’ve played on albums and performed together for years invite you to experience an evening of affecting jazz music.

Entre Mundos:

An electrifying Seattle-based band who bring to the stage an uplifting and kinetic mix of deep Brazilian roots flavored with world rhythms—a deft blending of funk, jazz and soul melding with the classic sounds of samba and bossa nova. EntreMundos means “between worlds,” and the group’s mélange of seductive sounds embodies their name, stirring a personal and uncommon blend into a sound with universal appeal.
